Semi monocoque fuselage primarily of light alloys; pressurised cockpit section; air brake under rear of fuselage; fixed inlet ramps. multi spar wing of mainly light alloys with trailing edge flaps

Anhedral horizontal all moving tailplanes; single vertical fin and rudder; single landing brake shoot housed at rear below fin.

retractable tricycle landing gear. single wheel on forward retracting nose gear; single on main which retracts inwards to stow horizontally inside lower surface of wings below engine air ducts.

Powerplant

One nonafterburning Rolls-Royce / Turbomeca Agour Mk.871 low bypass turbofan rated at 5,845 lb thrust.
