HELLO FELLOW MEMBERS

Now is the time to assess how successful this year has been for our club; with the purchase of new computers and updated software being achieved our technology is now first rate.

Our tutors are looking into ways in which we can now offer better value to our members.  We are currently rewriting Windows 1 & 2 into a single two stage course called WORD-PAD when completed this should allow students to pass from WORD-PAD straight to EMAIL and INTERNET instead of having to access the WORD classes.

Nominations for Committee have now closed and all positions will be declared vacant.  If insufficient nominations for the 9 positions have been reached then nominations will be accepted from the floor.  Members please give some consideration into joining our committee it only takes a couple of hours a month.

I must finally thank all tutors and committee for their continued support and dedication without which this club could not continue to offer our seniors with the opportunity to keep a breast with modern technology.

Our speaker for this meeting will be Greg and he is giving us a presentation about "KEEPING SAFE ON LINE" this information comes from out parent body ASCCA. Thanks Greg!!!
